Get to know the tips to enhance body language
You must
have heard the famous lines of Abraham Lincoln-
“Actions speak louder than words” and let me tell you,
all the research that goes around this says that when you communicate People remember only 30% of the
content that you say, rest 70% impact is created by your Body Language!
So, now you must have figured out how important this aspect becomes while
you are addressing a crowd or giving presentations.
So, here are tips which will not
only help you to speak
confidently but at the same time look confident.
9 tips to master your Body Language
Attractive Body Language
# TIP No. 1
Be Open
Don’t close your hands or keep your hands
in your pocket or keep them still!!
Always try to show an open body language which indicates that you are
with the audience inviting them to listen to you. Keep your hands and arms wide
open while speaking, move them.

# TIP No. 2
Look Confident
Don’t use a paper

Clearly, using a piece of paper while speaking will make you conscious
and confine your body movement. You will always try to look at the words
written on the paper.
This will break your flow while you are speaking and
also makes you look less prepared and confident.
It will be difficult for people to follow this tip in the beginning
but trust me after two to three presentations, you will definitely start giving
this tip to others!

# TIP No. 3
Move Around
Don’t Stand still at one place
While I say, your body language should be open, it is directly connected
to the way you stand and move!
When you walk around, the audience feels that you want to reach each one
of them and you are making efforts. They respect you more and at the same time,
your confident walk transfers your positive energy to your audience too.
Use the space that is provided to you, if there is a board and marker,
make sure you use that at least once.
These things help to remove monotony in presentations.

Keep That Smile on your Face.
Don’t frown or go expressionless!
Remember, the audience is there to support you but if you show
something negative, they will judge you very soon!

When you smile and speak, you live in the present and then
there is no chance of going blank and forgetting things.

People will love your positivity. You will be able to convey your message
more naturally and clearly.
Remember, a smile is
communicable! Use that…

and speak but trust me it works like magic.
They feel valued and hence give you value!
They try to be attentive throughout your presentation.

them, ask questions.

Your face has got all the magic.
Don’t forget to use every feature of your face, because, they are
unique!
Your

eyes

Your
Smile
Use them all!
When they move properly at the proper time, you sync it with your words,
this is where you hit a six!!
You become the king and queen of expressions- Expression of your thoughts.
Attractive Body Language
# TIP No. 7
Dress up Accurately.
Don’t forget to note the event type and
choose a dress!
Would you like to eat a dish
when it is not presented properly?

Same goes here, people make perceptions and 30-40% of the perception
about the speaker is made before he starts speaking by the way he dresses on
that day!

Although perceptions can be changed further by your performance,
that’s the first impression you possess over the audience. So, Use it well.
Dress
up neatly. Look good. Smell Perfect!
Colours of your dress should not hurt the eyes of your audience.
Attractive Body Language
# TIP No. 8
You are the master of your Hands.
Don’t use offensive signs with your hands!
Do you know?? You can use more than 400 hand gestures in a 20-minute
talk!
Your hand helps you to enhance the non-verbal communication between you
and your audience. This is where the open body language comes in.
If you start using your hand
gestures properly, everything will come in place- be it your expressions,
smile, leg movement, or eye contact!
Although hand movements come naturally but trust me it can be
practiced.
I practice it myself before a presentation!
