I feel lonely in the crowd.
I have people around me but why no one is talking to me.
Is anybody listening when I am cracking a joke?
Am I being Ignored?
Hey! Are you there?
The feeling of belongingness – The feeling to love and get loved – The most wanted feeling in this world!
Humans are social being and when they stop interacting, they feel they are losing support, A support that can hold them tight, really tight!
Somebody with whom they can share their feelings .
And when this not happens they start thinking - getting deeper into the feelings of Avoidance!
Do you often ask these questions to yourself?
Why do we always want to get noticed?
Why are we becoming slaves of suggestions?
Why do I feel bad when I have Zero likes on my social media post?
Why do I become restless when there are no new chats in my WhatsApp?
If yes, then again, just one question to you-
Where has that individuality gone in this social world? Why don’t you think yourself capable enough to take your own decisions!
Because of
these situations only, people start feeling lonely, apart and most commonly
used word now-a-days – “Depressed”
Now, why did I say, most commonly used word-
Folks! We define depression as – a period of unhappiness or low morale which lasts longer than several weeks and may include ideation of self inflicted injury or suicide”
The definition itself has so much negativity in that which can make you feel even more negative from inside when you use that word very often!
With the
year 2020 garnished with Lockdown series, many psychologists thought that
people would now begin to spend more time with their family members and hence
work pressure would get balanced, but did that actually happen?
Are people becoming more social or are they turning more lonely?
Ofcourse, you’ll have your own ways to explain it and understand.
What I found with my interactions was that people living away from home, mostly in metro cities are the one who are suffering the most when it comes to being lonely or depressed! Unable to talk to people or share the most stupid feelings!
Positivity
is vanishing from our minds. People around wanna laugh out loud but we think
too much…so much that we think that
The friend sitting next to me would hurt me!
People in my office are against me, planning something fishy!
My roommate is a spy.
Was she listening when we were talking?
He helped me only because he is in want of some benefits
And, what not!
Urrgghh! Friends, Chill….Take a deep breath!
Life is too
short to think about the negative things and that too when it is related
to others.
Give time to yourself…Think about your well being…. Love Yourself!
Truly said, humans are social being but, would that really mean that we forget ourselves, lose our own importance and find a place for ourselves only when your friends are appraising us!
Just think about this once deeply and I am sure you’ll agree with me.
Just try to say, I am the happiest person on this earth 3 times and you’ll start feeling it!
As I always say, Fake it till you make it!
Guys, we feel happy while talking to others is not because of others, it is only because of our efforts to smile at that point of time, to live in the present where we feel something positive about ourselves other than Depression and speak our heart out!
If you have something better to share, do comment below and let me know…. Would love to hear from you!
Till then…Just Love Yourself!
Yeah its really helpful..thank you

ReplyDeleteIf reading something can remove little bit of negativity from your life then imagine how thinking positive will change your life..
ReplyDeleteWell, will come up with more such articles and explain how actually you can do it!
Nice, I like this blog of your's, as current scenario is mostly of depression rather to be productive. On a serious note people now days are more self centered and doesn't understand the meaning of actual happiness and indulge themselves into materialistic happiness which ofcourse one day will vanish.
ReplyDeleteI like the whole blog but 2 statement of your's :
1. My roommate is a spy (feel sad for Ms.Waiting)
2. Fake it till you make it!
Kuddos to you gal, keep writing and will wait for your next as usual...(you know what I mean). Cheers.
